Before you call
Will you bulldoze my whole lot?
No. The mulcher works selectively. We take the guava, uluhe and albizia saplings and leave the ohia and anything else you want. Tell us what stays and we flag it before we start.
Do I need to call 811?
For any digging, yes. Hawaii One Call needs 5 working days notice. We handle it on hired jobs. Renters call it in and add the ticket number to their booking.
My lot is all lava. Can you still dig?
That is what the hammer is for. Pads, post holes and tank holes in pahoehoe take longer, so every estimate asks what your ground is.
Do I need a permit?
Hawaii County wants a grubbing permit past 1 acre and a grading permit past 100 cubic yards or 5 ft of cut or fill. We tell you when your job crosses that line.
Are you insured?
Yes, BAMF Land is insured. When you rent the 306, you either take the damage waiver (15% of the rental and tools, 20% with the mulcher or hammer) or show us a certificate of insurance that covers rented equipment.
What does the hour meter mean?
The 306 counts engine hours. A day includes 8. Extra hours bill at the day rate divided by 8.
What if I need to cancel?
Free up to 72 hours before delivery. Inside 72 hours we keep the delivery charge.
